Cookies and storage
This website uses no tracking cookies and no trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no service following you across websites. We only count visits, without cookies, and the app sets one functional cookie if you are signed in, as explained below.
Why you see no cookie banner
A consent banner is required when a site puts something in your browser that is not necessary for the service you asked for: analytics, advertising, or tracking between sites. We do none of those: our visitor count stores nothing in your browser, and the one cookie there can be, dk_signed_in, is strictly functional (see below).
Putting a dialog in front of you asking permission for something that does not exist would cost your attention while protecting nothing. So it is written here instead of in a pop-up.
What is stored
Two things at most. Your language choice, only if you pick a language or dismiss the note saying the page also exists in another language, so you are not asked again. That is kept in your own browser's storage, not on our server, contains no identifier and is sent nowhere.
And if you are signed in to the app in this
browser: one functional cookie, dk_signed_in, with the value

lets this site show "Open the app" instead of "Sign in". The app sets
it for one year and removes it when you sign out.
Visitor statistics, without cookies
To know which pages help people, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It places no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not build a profile and does not follow you to other websites. We see totals only: how many visits a page had, from which country, on which kind of device, and which site linked here. We cannot see who you are.
Because nothing is stored on your device and you are not tracked, this needs no consent banner. Cloudflare processes the visit as our processor; your IP address is not used to identify you.
What happens to the dream you type
If you have a dream interpreted here without an account, that text is processed once to produce your reading. It is not linked to you, not kept by us, and not used to train AI models.
To limit abuse we count how many free readings have been requested from an internet connection that day. Your IP address is stored hashed, never readable, and deleted after three days.
The app
The app is a separate environment with its own account and settings. There you can choose whether to enable analytics, and it is off by default. What is stored there and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.
If this changes
If we ever add anything that stores data in your browser or follows you, such as Google Analytics, you will get a real consent request about it first, with the option to say no without the site working less well. This page will be updated then.
