Dreaming of the forest in wicca: meaning
In Wicca the forest belongs to earth and to the wild: the part of yourself that has not been tamed or ordered.
Within this tradition
The forest is among the richest images for shadow work in this tradition. It stands for what grows without you having planted it.
The state of the forest refines the reading. A light forest with paths concerns something you know and can enter. A dense, dark forest without a path concerns territory in yourself you have not yet mapped.
Losing your way is not read as a problem here. Getting lost is often the beginning in shadow work: you end up where you would not have walked.
Within the wheel of the year the forest becomes a recurring image around Samhain and the dark months, when the tradition turns inward.
Trees and forests are sacred in many pagan traditions. According to classical writers the druids gathered in sacred oak groves, and in the Celtic ogham alphabet each letter is connected with a tree. Modern wiccans often work with the Green Man, a face of leaves carved in medieval churches that stands for the life force of the forest, and with the Oak and Holly Kings, who rule the light and dark halves of the year in turn. A dream about a forest can be read in that light as an encounter with the wild, growing power of nature, and of yourself.

Is getting lost a bad sign?
Rarely in wicca. You end up where you would not have walked of your own accord, and that is the point.
Who is the Green Man?
A face of leaves from European art and folk tradition, which in wicca stands for the life force of the forest.
Does wicca have one fixed dream interpretation?
No. Wicca has no central doctrine; readings differ per tradition and per person.
