Duman
A Winti healer and expert in baths and rituals.
A duman is a Winti healer: someone who prepares baths, leads rituals and guides people. Other names that come up in this context are bonuman, someone with knowledge of herbs and healing, and lukuman or lukuvrouw, someone who does a luku.
In Winti readings of dreams people are often referred to a duman: for a bath after a bad dream, for protection, or to remove the source of a problem. Anyone looking for such a person does best to find them through people they trust.
