Leba
The winti of street and crossroads, gatekeeper and cleanser.
Leba is the winti of the street, the road and the crossroads. She opens contact between people and winti, and cleanses: she sweeps the road clean and drives off harmful forces.
In dreams Leba often appears as a figure in rags with a broom. Someone sweeping towards you with a broom is read within the tradition as Leba cleaning your path. The howling of dogs at night is also linked with her in stories.
