Tata Opete
Head of the air pantheon; the only winti with free access to Anana.
Tata Opete, also called Ananka Jaw, heads the air pantheon, the tapu-kromanti, and is connected with the vulture.
Within the tradition he is held to be the only winti who can travel freely to Anana's dwelling and report there. He accompanies other winti on that path and brings them back to earth.
The air winti are seen as war gods, tied to thunder, lightning and fire. Dreams with storms, height or sudden force are sometimes read in this direction.
