Wisi
Harmful magic, the opposite of obia.
Wisi is the term for harmful magic in the Winti tradition: the deliberate use of supernatural force to damage someone.
In dream interpretation wisi surfaces mainly around images of pursuit, attack, or persistent misfortune with no apparent cause. The tradition is restrained here: not every nightmare points to wisi, and that conclusion is not drawn lightly.
Anyone worried about it seeks protection within the tradition through obia and through someone experienced in it.
